Every suite has a king bed in one bedroom and either a king or queen bed in the second bedroom. Some suites have one bathroom (with an extra sink in each bedroom) but some of the suites have two full bathrooms.

Kitchens are stocked with dishes and silverware, cookware, modern appliances, coffee maker, and tea kettle (thank you!).

The comfortable living room in each suite features plush chairs and a couch, plenty of seating area for four or five people. Half of the suites face the marina (great sunrise views) while the other half overlook Peace River, Charlotte Harbor, and Fishermen’s Village dry beach to the west (wonderful sunset views).

Parking at The Suites at Fishermen’s Village

A dedicated parking area is available for people staying overnight in The Suites at Fishermen’s Village. This is especially appreciated and convenient during peak tourist season when parking can be a challenge. I absolutely loved driving right into the secure parking lot past cars that were sharking for a place to park.

A heated pool is available exclusively for guests of The Suites at Fishermen’s Village and marina guests. The pool is open 7am to 8pm. Get your swim in before the shoppers and diners show up at Fishermen’s Village.

More Fitness Activities Near The Suites at Fishermen’s Village

A fun shuffleboard court is located right next to the pool. Loaner bicycles are available to pedal around and explore Punta Gorda. Visit the Marina office to register for both.

Nearby Punta Gorda trails are wonderful, take advantage of them!

Harborwalk is a nearly two-mile mostly waterfront path between Fishermen’s Village and Trabue Park. Along the way, enjoy Gilcrest Park (great spot for sunsets, pickleball, basketball, and playground), public art murals under Tamiami Trail (just past Hurricane Charley’s), TT’s Tiki Bar area (sand volleyball courts and more funness), and Laishley Park (see the Vietnam Memorial Wall replica in the Veteran Park section).

Linear Park is a fantastic one-mile urban trail. Closest to the Fishermen’s Village entrance there are sections of public adult playground fitness equipment. Punta Gorda History Park is worth a visit and is a block off Linear Park on Shreve Street (next to the Punta Gorda Library).

And of course you can burn off a lot of calories by walking around Fishermen’s Village.

Fishermen’s Village is Punta Gorda’s most popular attraction. Enjoy shopping, dining, live music, adult beverages, boat excursions, festivals, and events. Shop until you drop and stroll a few steps back to your suite and relax.

Visit Fishermen’s Village stores for nautical themed household items, fun knick knacks, upscale clothing, upcycled souvenirs and gifts, items for children and pets, and more.

King Fisher Fleet offers several fun daily boating excursions on Charlotte Harbor and Peace River. Join the popular sunset cruise, Peace River Nature Cruise, Boca Grande or Cabbage Key trip.

Peace River Wildlife Center staff and volunteers bring rescued and rehabbed animals twice a week for entertainment, photos, and education. Maybe you can take a fun selfie with a possum, owl, or other native southwest Florida critter.

Most stores are open from 10am until 8pm and restaurants close at 9pm (10pm on weekends). Quiet when you want to chill.

The Pier is recommended for fresh seafood, sushi, poke/rice bowls, and drinks and appetizers at sunset. Village Brewhouse is in Center Court and showcases local Southwest Florida craft beer and serves burgers, tacos, salads, and more (try the blackened grouper sandwich or tacos!).

Center Court Bar is the outdoor bar right outside Village Brewhouse. They feature live music every day. Sunset Beach Club is located on Fishermen’s Village dry beach and serves a subset of the menu from the Village Brewhouse.

Harpoon Harry’s Restaurant and Sports Bar is on the lower level at the end of Fishermen’s Village. Upstairs from that is the fine dining option of The Captain’s Table. Both are superb places to catch an iconic US Gulf Coast sunset.

Good Ole Days Coffee Shop is the only Fishermen’s Village place open before 10am and offers coffee drinks, bagels, and basic breakfast sandwiches.
